Life, summer plans, con plans, etc. *__*

Just a small update~

I’m on spring break now, so I am getting a bit more time to draw, but as soon as this week is over, all my free time will be gone again because of school. I don’t want to talk about how I feel about school and life now, though. D:

Over the summer, I will be studying abroad in Hakodate, Japan for 8 weeks and then flying out to Australia to spend some time with ~Leptir! :3 ♥ If all goes well, ~Jaquii will be joining me there~
I technically have to leave before the spring quarter at UoC is over; this means I don't really get a break, and that makes me a bit uncomfortable. xD This is the first time I am able to do something like this, however, so I am looking forward to it.

Also, I will be seeing Franz Ferdinand (this April) and NIN (May) in Chicago with ~Jaquii before I leave! Two concerts to distract me from how miserable school makes me feel. 8D Upset that I'll be missing the Manson show in July, tho. ;__;

As far as con plans go, just the following are planned for now since I'll be gone during the summer:
Anime Central – May 8-10, 2009
Anime Weekend Atlanta – September 18-20, 2009

On a related note, ACen sucks for never inviting Jrock artists anymore. ;___; LAME.

~Leptir and I will be doing Artist Alley at Ohayocon, even though they screwed us over and gave us only one table instead of two. D: No worries, though! We'll manage somehow. xD

School, Diru, etc.

Hi, everyone~!

I really don't update my DA journal (or any other online journal/blog) very much, but I just wanted to say that school is eating up ALL of my free time. I transferred to University of Chicago this year and moved out of my house to the city with ~Jaquii, so it's been a little hectic.

~Leptir is coming back from Australia in two weeks!! We'll be working like crazy on a collab for Dir en grey, so... xD

I'll try and upload something before then, though. I've just been very busy, but I refuse to let that get to me.

This summer has been somewhat chaotic (I'll probably write about that later), but I have some new things lined up, including another collab with ~Leptir!

Thank you for everyone's support during Acen; it really meant a lot to be met with so much encouragement. ♥


I've been meaning to write up an update about the general status of things for a while, but it will have to wait a bit longer~
